01 Monitoring Scope
Production monitoring should cover authorization validity, success rate, latency, rate limits, webhook receipt, queue backlog, retry count, and last successful synchronization.
02 Retry Rules
Retry network timeouts and temporary service errors with backoff. Fix parameters, permissions, and business validation before retrying. Order creation, inventory adjustment, and shipment confirmation require a stable business or idempotency key.
03 Severity
| Level | Example | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| P1 | Broad order outage or duplicate shipment | Stop risky actions and escalate immediately. |
| P2 | Persistent channel failure or inventory confirmation outage | Resolve within target time and notify the business owner. |
| P3 | Single record or noncritical field failure | Queue and close through daily operations. |
04 Production Acceptance
Use test orders to validate create, update, cancel, inventory change, shipment, and tracking confirmation. Confirm duplicate requests do not create duplicate business records and failures are observable, retryable, reconcilable, and owned.
05 Change Control
Validate field, status, version, and authorization-scope changes in test first. Document impact and rollback before scheduling production.
